About Us

At Shensilvers, our mission was to raise healthy and socially well-adjusted Shaded Silver and Chinchilla Silver Persian kittens to be placed in loving, family-oriented homes. Our cattery is a family love affair. The kittens and cats are part of our family and are never caged. They live with us, our daughter, Angie, and grandson, Austin. The feline members of our family have the run of the house. 

Shensilvers is dedicated to the memory of Baby Doll and Beemer. Like our good friends, Tammi and Jerry Bulovas, we were blessed with our girls for almost 20 loving years of companionship. We do what we do because of the relationship we had with these beautiful Silver Persians. 

Silver Persians are companions, unlike any other breed of cat. They thrive on and will love the relationship they have with you. They will seek you out and want to be in your presence. 

All of Shensilvers’ cats are PKD1 DNA-tested at the University of California, Davis and are negative. Our cats also tested negative with FeLV and FIV. You will receive this documentation with your kitten. We also give a one-year guarantee on genetics. 

We place pets and show cats in loving, family-oriented homes. We will not knowingly place one of our kittens with any family when we are not sure it will be loved and treated with kindness. In return, you will have a companion you will cherish for many years. If you have loved one of these kitties before, you know how it is. These kittens are perfect for those who want an in-your-face pet that will require some of your time in grooming and general care.
